What's the meaning of 'Iridium'?

Iridium is a silvery-white transition metal of the platinum group - a chemical element with symbol Ir and atomic number 77. Check out Wikipedia for details. All Math.NET packages (or rather their major releases) are now labeled with a special chemical element as a codename, basically to simplify communication - Iridium is the codename of this package.
